TADA’s Ballet Program aims to shape students of all ages into strong, confident, skilled ballet dancers as they advance through the levels over the years. The program follows a specific ballet curriculum that is monitored and maintained by our Ballet Director, Miss Amy Leonards. Every spring, our ballet students receive their next year's ballet level based on progress and improvement throughout the year, class attendance, and work ethic. Their level is determined by their ballet instructor, along with evaluation by the Ballet Director. Students typically advance a half level per year, occasionally a whole level, depending on the aforementioned factors. Our ballet program caters to all levels of interest: recreational through pre-professional. The ballet program holds the following levels:
PreBallet 1 - Ages 5-7
PreBallet 2 - Ages 6-8
Ballet Levels 1a/1b, 2a/2b, 3a/3b, 4a/4b, 5a/5b, 6a/6b, 7a/7b, and 8a and higher - Ages 7 and up
For level placement, evaluation, syllabus and curriculum questions, please contact Miss Amy Leonards, the Ballet Director at ballet@dancetada.com Dancers interested in more rigorous ballet training and more performance opportunities may audition for our Youth Ballet Conservatory - scroll down for more information on YBC.
