Prepare for College or Pro Dance Companies
The TADA Pre-Pro/College-Prep Program is an extended pre-professional class that occurs weekly for Team TADA and YBC dancers ages 13 to 18. Dancers will train in a setting that further challenges their experience in concert style Contemporary dance. The program's focus is to train well-rounded artists who possess the tools necessary for a professional or collegiate career path in dance. The class strives to provide dancers with a carefully curated collegiate-level training experience that expands their knowledge and exposure to dance. Weekly sessions will include Contemporary technique, Improvisation, Partnering, and Choreography. Dancers will be challenged and mentored through the creation and rehearsal process of a new dance work and have the opportunity to explore their own choreography. They will also benefit from mentorship and guidance as they navigate college or professional company auditions, expectations, and preparation.
