The spring ballet will center around the following three fairytales, which bring to the stage a wonderful mixture of storytelling, magic, and whimsy!
A boy is delighted to discover that his best friend, the Goose, has laid a golden egg. As characters come to gawk and potentially steal the Goose, hilarity ensues as one by one more folks get stuck to the Goose.
Due to a lack of money for food, Hansel & Gretel’s evil stepmother forces their father, the Woodcutter, to take them into the frightening forest and leave them. They discover a house made entirely of gingerbread occupied by a terrible witch.
The Daughter of a greedy merchant is forced by the King to spin straw into gold or die. Rumpelstiltskin comes to her aid, but at great cost to her future. It takes the kingdom working together to figure out the secret to defeat Rumpelstiltskin.
