TADA presents Coppélia Spring Ballet
Join us for this beautiful full length ballet directed by Ballet and YBC Director Amy Leonards and choreographed by Amy Leonards & TADA Ballet Instructors! This production will feature dancers who are current YBC members and is open to other dancers from TADA by audition/application. Performances will be Sunday April 12th at Tomball High School.
ABOUT THE BALLET
Coppelia is a classic and comedic ballet about a young woman, Swanhilda, and her fiance, Franz, who are baffled by the mysterious and life-like doll, Coppelia. The ballet is known for its humorous story of mistaken identity, where Swanhilda disguises herself as the doll to trick the inventor.
PARTICIPATION OPPORTUNITY: REGISTER BY DEC 8
There will not be formal auditions. To participate, dancers must be in PreBallet or higher and be age 7 by October 1st, 2025 and beenrolled in at least one ballet class at TADA; additionally, dancers must have at least one year of ballet experience. Dancers must be registered by December 8th and will be observed during their classes during the month of November & December by Ms. Amy. They will be cast in appropriate parts by their ballet level, age, focus, musicality, presence and work ethic. For a spring ballet packet please email Miss Amy at ballet@dancetada.com
