Team TADA Competition Program
At Texas Academy of Dance Arts, Team TADA is designed for dancers who are passionate about pursuing excellence in dance while developing the skills and character needed for success both on and off the stage. Whether a dancer’s future includes college dance programs, professional companies, commercial dance, teaching, or simply a lifelong love of the art form, Team TADA provides a strong foundation for growth.
Our dancers receive well-rounded training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, ballroom, and more. Team members have the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s most respected educators, choreographers, and guest artists through master classes, conventions, and special training experiences.
While technical training and artistic development are central to our program, we believe the lessons learned beyond the dance floor are equally important. Team TADA emphasizes teamwork, responsibility, humility, confidence, leadership, discipline, service, and perseverance—values that help shape strong dancers and even stronger individuals.
Three Levels. One Team.
Our competition program offers three tracks to meet dancers where they are in their training journey:
Showstoppers – Our novice competition track, designed for dancers who are beginning their competitive experience while building strong technical and performance foundations.
Team TADA Competitive – Our competitive track for dancers seeking a higher level of training, performance opportunities, and regional competition experiences.
Team TADA Convention – Our convention track for highly committed dancers who wish to expand their training through conventions, workshops, and advanced performance opportunities.
No matter the track, every dancer is part of one supportive community united by a shared passion for dance.
Pre-Pro College Prep Program
For dancers ages 13 and older, Team TADA also offers the opportunity to participate in our Pre-Pro College Prep Program. This specialized training path is designed for students interested in preparing for collegiate dance programs, professional opportunities, and advanced artistic development through focused training, mentorship, and performance experiences.
