pre-pro dance program
Preparing Students for a Future In Dance
Lead by Evelyn Toh
The TADA Pre-Pro/College-Prep Class is a pre-professional experience for Team TADA and YBC dancers ages 13 to 18 years old. Dancers selected will receive an invitation via email along with their team/YBC acceptance. Dancers will train in a setting that further challenges their experience in concert style Contemporary dance. The focus of the program is to train well-rounded contemporary artists that possess the tools necessary for a professional or collegiate career path in dance. The class strives to provide dancers with a carefully curated collegiate-level training experience that cultivates holistic dancers equipped to succeed in their passion and future. Weekly sessions will include Contemporary technique, Improvisation, Partnering, and Choreography. Dancers will also be challenged and mentored through the creation and rehearsal process of a new dance work and also given the opportunity to create their own choreography.
