audition for our 11th annual nutcracker

Auditions:  It's TADA's 11th Annual Performance of The Nutcracker - Auditions May 4!  Everyone who auditions receives a role according to his/her age and ability.  For a packet of information including Nutcracker commitment, dates, fees, and more, please email the Director Amy Leonards at ballet@dancetada.com.  Dancers must be enrolled students at TADA for this Spring, Summer, or Fall 2025 term in order to register.

About the Nutcracker:  The whole family will enjoy this annual Christmas classic filled with magic, mystery, and a dash of humor, plus enjoy a lovely holiday market happening in the lobby of every show!  Performances will be in December at a TBA Venue, usually announced in October.  The Nutcracker is a stunning, storytelling ballet centered on the E.T.A. Hoffmann original 1816 writing about a young girl named Clara who receives a wooden Nutcracker that comes to life as a prince on Christmas Eve.  The adventure unfolds with an array of magical creatures including the Mouse Queen, Snow Queen, and of course the Sugar Plum Fairy as Clara is transported in a beautiful winter sleigh through the Land of Snow to her golden throne in the Land of Sweets.
