TADA is a registered "Royal Academy of Dance" school for students who wish to train under our certified RAD teachers and take exams under this leading international method.

OUR BALLET PROGRAM WELCOMES ALL LEVELS OF INTEREST, RECREATIONAL TO PRE-PROFESSIONAL

TRAINING: Our ballet program is designed and streamlined so that each level builds progressively from fundamental through advanced technique under a curriculum/syllabus carefully followed by our team of highly-qualified ballet faculty. Parents receive a progress report as well as next year's level placement every Spring from our Ballet Director. Students advance half a level to a full level each year. Levels include PreBallet 1 (age 5+), PreBallet 2 (age 6+), and Levels 1a/1b (age 7+) through 8a/8b/Pre-Professional.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES: Because performance is an integral part of dance education, students can audition optionally for our beautiful annual Fall Nutcracker as well as our Spring Ballet The Snow Queen All auditionees are awarded a role based on technical ability and age. Ballet students also perform in our End-of-Year Recital

HIGHER-LEVEL TRAINING/YBC COMPANY: Ballet students age 7+ who wish to train in anticipation of a future in classical/contemporary ballet may audition for our Youth Ballet Company Age 13+ dancers can also audition for our Preprofessional Collegiate Training Program.

RAD PROGRAM: We also proudly provide Royal Academy of Dance Training should a ballet student choose to to take ballet exams at the end of the term with our certified RAD teachers.

About the Youth Ballet Company

TADA’s Youth Ballet Company is for serious, highly-motivated dancers who wish to train as pre-professionals in anticipation of a future in classical and contemporary ballet. CLICK HERE FOR AUDITIONS. YBC dancers fulfill greater weekly ballet training requirements, and commit to regular rehearsals and performances depending on level. YBC dancers benefit not only from personal evaluations, close monitoring, and mentorship by the YBC Director and specific YBC Ballet Faculty, but they also enjoy many featured roles in all of TADA's ballet productions including our annual Nutcracker, Winter Showcase, Spring Ballet, and more according to level. YBC dancers also compete in prestigious ballet competitions including YAGP and the UBC. Additionally, YBC dancers age 13+ can audition for our Pre-Professional Collegiate Program.

TADA offers RAD ballet classes for students who wish to train and take exams under this leading international method. The RAD was established in 1920 in Great Britain, creating an international syllabus, standards, and guidelines for student and teacher certification. Students can take exams at the end of the term, and based upon score can gain a certificate for level completion and advancement. TADA offers RAD ballet classes levels pre ballet and higher exclusively under our certified RAD ballet instructors.
